stock 85' 5.0 distributer

I have one of these in my 331. Is there any tricks that you can do to these to make them run better? Ive never messed with a vacuum advance distributer anyway. What port on a holley do you connect the distributer to?

Those distributors work great, you can change vacuum cans to modify the advance. You can add an msd box for more spark. I have always just run them completely off my 6al.
I always use the vacuum at the carb, on a side hung, its on the front passenger side bowl block.

i have had good luck with them too. u can pick them up from auto store for next to nothing rebuilt. make sure you ask for an 85 and you get roller gear too.

I have a msd 6al on it already. I was just wondering about the vacuum advance part. Wondering if anybody was modifying them. Thanks for your feedback..
