you assume wrong, converted a big fat 2005 drive by wire, yaw control, 4x4, auto harness into a stand alone drive by cable swap harness on my kitchen table.
I ran every inch of wire that is in that car, started with a 18circuit painless kit and ended up with a car that has all the functions of a normal mustang, radio, ac, high beams, low beam, turn signals, emergency flashers, fuel pump, dual electric fans, etc., etc.
The gauges were nothing special, just a way to save a couple of hundred bucks by using a router and they've worked out great.
Well, actually I did figure out pretty much the whole deal by myself, my questions were trying to figure out if (and who) could do the modifications to the lines I needed. I'll also note that the system is actually not "escadalde" (whatever that is) swap parts. I used the compressor from and Escalade, I had an Escalade accumulator/drier modified to work with the f-body evap core that I used a Mustang heater box that I modified to fit that evap in, and an f-body condenser. I am probably the only person who has ever used this combination of parts, EVER, not to mention every line had to be custom made. Not quite a "bolts right up" deal.
Oh, and about the "asking several questions", I believe it was you that said the accumulator on it's side wouldn't work (note how much stock I put into you opinion).
Oh dear lord, please don't offer me any of your Autozone expertise.
Yep, I agree, everything I did was easy, I've welded, painted, wired, machined, grinded, hammered, and bolted together the car of my dreams. Oh, and I'm in my 20's FYI. When I was 12 years old I started a software dev. company and bought my first car cash, by the time I was 17 I had a fox body with a forged/blown sbf that I paid for by myself.
Don't hold your breathe . . . er, on second thought, please do!
Hey, I'm just the moron that pointed out you can't compare two different dyno numbers from two different dynos on two different days. What do I know?
