Getting a car started after sitting for a year.

What precautions should I take before trying to crank her over? The oil was drained but not the gas tank.

id drain the old gas out replace the fuel filter squirt some Marvel oil in each cylinder. if the oil pump runs off the dist maybe use a drill to prime the engine oil system before starting it.

I didn't think about that. Long story short, the motor seized on a Kj jeep. I coudn't get it to manually turn at the crank and just left it. I got it to budge a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a shot. I did this without taking out the plugs. I'm looking to sell it as is or as a running vehicle.
