Black and tan interior looks better than a plastic fantasic all black interior.

        I disagree. Lol

Im thinking I might just do what 2165 turbo rail said. I know I could get some money out of roller, and an on3 turbo kit is $2k new. Maybe I could stuff a mark 32v and tranny in cheap and make some more $

This sounds like a lot of work for minimal gains. Didnt that red car have an 03 cobra motor in it recently?

For a driver I would just stick with what you had and not bought the red car unless it was a buy the suspension and get the car for free deal.

And you wont be able to replicate boostedGTs car for what you would want to spend. or even JW33s car for that matter.

I got the car free with the suspension basically. It's gonna be pretty good gains. I have one complete car and one with full suspension without a motor and tranny. I going to drive the red car. I'll either sell the blak one as a roller or with a different motor or sell it a it is and buy more motor for the red car. I'm gonna make big profit either way.

I like the red car. And I can make it complete:

                      1. Drop the black car motor and tranny into it, sell the black car to buy a supercharger for red.

                      2. Sell my black car complete for $5k and buy a drivetrain for red.

I'm getting the complete car I want either way. And I'm making profit either way. I either get a newer less mileage c head motor an a t-56, or a boosted 97 cobra motor. Bi-winning.

What kind of cost we talking for the whole swap?
I was into mine for about $4k before I ran out of time and a shop to work on it. The LS1/T56 was $3k, wiring harness from Speartech was around $400 I believe, fuel lines around $300. Other misc stuff, radiator, fans, intake tubing, reprogram PCM, and I was just over the $4k mark. I figure it'd be right around $5k to get my swap up and running.

when it is all said and done i would love to see what kind of "big profit" that was made on this deal. dont take this the wrong way but nothing i have seen you post on the forum leads me to believe you are capable of pulling this off. Will you be paying someone to do the work?

Take it from me, swap cars are a complete pain in the fucking ass going through the process, always much more expensive than you think it will be, more time consuming etc.

BUT, with the right swap combo, it's worth it in the end because the car is fun as hell.

Now, if you just have some lame N/A Mach swap with no boost, it's not worth all the work in my opinion. At the end of that much work, it better have some damn power or you will end up hating the car with a passion!
