Use this with an Ford Racing aluminum double hook quadrant and an Ford Racing firewall adjuster (best firewall adjuster because it's self-locking) and you will have smooth clutch engagement with no problems. It's also good to upgrade the Throwout bearing retainer to a steel one. The stock aluminum ones get pitted over time and can / will snap clutch cables (I know this from two previous Mustangs I've owned).
