  • Fan clutch differences... ??

So AFTER I put in a "heavy duty" fan clutch I got curious and went on summit racing to look at all kinds of them and seen that there are "standard" "thermal" "non thermal" and heavy duty.. did I just completely fuck myself by putting in a heavy duty fan clutch?? here's what it's doing.. the fan only spools up if I rev it up, accelerate etc... but while idling or cruising,, it doesn't do shit.. somebody please break this down Barney style for me lol

I know.. I already picked out the radiator/fan combo from summit but just to get me by for now I need to fix this.. This heavy duty one ain't right and nothing really specifies what to get it just gives you the options. it should somewhat spin while warming up,, then it gets hot, then kicks the fan full power but right now that's not what it's doin so like I said I think I fucked up by puttin the heavy duty one in there instead of a standard or thermal one
