    Transmission shop?

    Looking for a good shop around FT. Worth. The Galaxie i bought a few months ago needs some transmission work. I thought it had a Cruise o Matic but after looking it has a C-6. It's leaking like a sieve and defiantly needs a higher stall. 406 w/ tri-power cant even break the tires loose.

    I found Broader Performance online, does anyone have experience w/ them?
    You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

    Yes, I know Jay @ broader performance very well. He does alot of those units. I am good friends with him and also Mike of Mikes trick shift. Either one have extensive experience with those units and can take care of it.

      Thanks, i'll give him a call. I just tried to drive the car and now it wont move in 1st and barely in drive. Guess i'll drop it this weekend.

        If you want to take the whole car, you need to see Mike. Jay only takes units I believe.

          I dropped my FE C6 off w/ Jay yesterday at Broader Performance. I wasn't expecting a little shop out back of his house in bfe Weatherford but he has a nice setup. It was clean and tidy which is what i like, he even has a transmission dyno and he test everyone he builds. He talked to me for 45mins about what i wanted and was looking for in this transmission. The phone keep ringing so he takes it off the hook so we can talk. I have great confidence in the C6 rebuild and torque converter he putting together for me.
