you have more problems than ring gear bolts...also, you shouldnt be able to move the ring gear even if it has no bolts, they press on.

Ive seen spider gears give out and pop while turning.

What kind of damage should I expect when I tear this apart?

Sa-weet it needed to be gone through and now I have a reason!

I knew they pressed on but I figured it just worked itself loose.

This rear end has always howled, I just figured it was because they were not ford gears. Idk what brand they are, I didn't have anything to do with it. The bolts show no signs of thread locker.

From what I can gather. The bearings will need to be replaced, the diff taken out and clutches, and put the gears back in properly.

                  What am I missing?

The housing needs to be flushed of course.

How does this make me an idiot?

                        Just wondering?

Have you read ANY of your posts? Any of them alone are enough to make people think you're a bit slow, but when you combine them together it removes all doubt.

Oh I see, I didn't realize having a part fail when it's not even my fault makes me a moron, or how "I hope you don't take anyone out with you" makes any sense in this situation.
