My 5.0 was a wednesday car(never got beat by another stock 5.0) and it would beat both tpi cars even beat a buddys 1le car. The lt4s were hard to beat you had to be on your game and the other driver had to be a little lazy shifting. Fastest mine went stock on street tires was an 8.82 and it was a GT.

From seeing time slips, if I could get the 60ft and not spin going into second, it would run a low 8.9 high 8.8 I think. And that's with street tires.
If you ran that In a heavy gt, props. In a 100% stock GT. Damn that's moving!

honestly, coming from where im from im actually interested in seeing this happen.
back where im from he who has the bigger motor wins. no matter what. 350 TPI vs new 5.0? 350 ci will always >302ci no matter what.
That idea makes no sense, but it happens all the time, and it's been that way for a while.

Perfect driver in a wednesday car!
mm&ff 10 minute tune up on regular radials w/ 2.0 60ft
Car went alot faster w/ 3.55s and tires, still stock motor, no cats w/ k&n panel filter.
