          Maybe more.

          FWIW:

I ran a truck with about 450hp and beat it pretty good.

Was a tuned, pullied, exhaust intake Harley truck

Damned TPI's are touchy as hell. Biggest thing is to make sure that the TPS is reading .5 volts and the timing is set to 6* BTDC.

Yep. This is why the Foxes gained popularity. Before that everyone wanted a Camaro. The 82 GT began to change this and the '85 roller cammed 5.0 even more so. Good times.

Only after you started modding them. (which was relatively cheap and easy with the lighter Fox.) Stupid small cammed, highway geared chevrolets.

Thanks JC. I am going to try bring the timing in & set the TPS. Everytime I put the car in drive or reverse it just dies.

This would be why I got rid of my tpi camaro and bought a coupe.

Good luck SEB. I had a 90 tpi in a 79 gmc half ton and could never get it right. I think i went to 5 or 6 different tuners and never was quite right. i didnt have a stock cam and i think that most of the issues were with setting the VE and timing. It can be done.

check out moates.net helped me alot.
