  • are fox body ball joints replaceable. . .

I've been told yes but have been told no that you have to replace the whole control arm. So which is it yes or no? Thanks. Im hoping yes seeing how they sell replacement ones.

Ok. . . Yeah was told that when you changed them that it'd distort the hole. So that's why i was checking for sure.

I would think, if you did it right, that wouldn't be an issue.

I think you can rent a balljoint press and get them out.

Az rents the ball joint press.

Use pb blaster to get the old ones out, and put grease to help the new ones slide in.

Yes, they are replaceable. Yes, the hole will be distorted. The replacements come slightly oversized.

Yes they are replaceable without control arm replacement. It's easy compared to changing the bushings. That was fun.

With a torch, my shop press, and some persistence. It was interesting.

                          Sounds like a blast..

I think I might run those asshole bushings until I go tubular if that's the case lol.

Yeah don't even bother with them. It made all the difference on mine and was worth the trouble.
