1.3-1.5? That's like a 11 second car down to a 9 second car, kind of a big difference.

You guys are comical. Like I told James via pm's - the stock V8 rears is what we use on everything and have cars ranging from mid 1.20's up to 500HP street cars on that setup. It flat ass works.

I'll say this, 4 cylinder front springs are no bueno. They make for an ill handling shrimp boat feel of a drive. You need MORE spring rate in the front of a drag car, not less. (but not like you'd use in a road course type car either). Depending on front end weight, anywhere from 150-250# fronts on 'normal' setups. Sometimes even more. The front needs to come up faster (but with dampening control of shocks) - and in the words of Wolfe, if the front doesn't work (first), the fuckin' back wont' either.

My eibach drag front springs have 2 more coils then the stock spring, and on the rear spring they are thicker coils and feel a lot more stiff.

I've read 175# springs up front is "where it's at" but it more so depends on weight.

After looking at my drag springs in the box I came to the conclusion the front needs a "springy" spring.

Well there it is, I'm full of shit lol

Seriously all I was doing is suggest trying them since people just give them away. Obviously it doesn't sound like it works so I apologize for suggesting it.

LOL, Lason - it's not like that.

There was a time that's all you could get, and then it worked - and that kind of suggestion has been around since the beginning of Fox's.

I, personally, have never been a fan of them - but most of MY time with Fox's have been in the 'modern era' where that kinda stuff was already phased out, if that makes sense.

LOL, its cool man. Makes perfect sense. Im not e-butt hurt, I was just messing with the kid more than anything. Im far from the mustang suspension guru, just sharing what I knew and what we did back in the day. If the V8 springs work better then by all means run with them.
