it's 60 miles to redline, 50 miles to denton, 46.1 to crandall, and 13 to kdale. sooo hard to make the drive anywhere else (especially since i like to drive to and from the track on my sticky tires and i dont own a truck or trailer).

what have you heard about the dale? i was skating all over it on sunday night!

Friend of mine was trying to dial in his car and couldn't get it to hook, same story as yours. Went to NS and hooked up fine, no changes needed.

Do you have an Anti roll bar? Wolfe recommends using the stock springs with it.

Whats funny is Ive been to several small tire races and hear someone say "that track sucks" then see someone else go right down that bitch on radials. You have to know how to read the track and adjust the car accordingly. Cant always race on a perfect track.

very true but i think it has alot to do with the street tires jacking up the starting line IMO !

last friday did anybody see the white firebird put the car in reverse about half track that shit cracked me up you know he jacked that thing up took about 10 mins to get him off the track he was drunk or just a jackass one of two!

I think he was drunk. I raced him earlier in the evening. I was in the left lane and was quite a ways in front of him, I slowed up enough to make the first turn around and looked behind me and he was in MY LANE behind me. I dont know about you guys, but I stay in my lane until I make the turn around (and ALWAYS wait for the inside lane to do whatever they are going to do (1st or 2nd turnaround, never turn out in front of another car no matter how far away they are/look).

So later in the night I see a couple of guys by that car drinking beer. Then when I go around to race again we somehow get paired up and I told the track dude I didn't want to run him. Then he takes for ever to get staged (2nd time I saw him stage the rear tires) then once he goes through the traps he stops and puts the car in reverse and sits there. It's freakin hot in my car and sitting there after my burnout waiting for this dbag to decide what he's going to do pisses me off. Didn't see him after that which is probably good cause it pisses me off to think other racers are drinking/smoking/etc. and are in the lane next to me.

                  /rant off

I would think V8 springs on the rear will unload the rear too quick but as cheap as they are (ie, FREE) I would pick up a set of both and try out what works best.
You don't want the ass to sink, you want to front to rise to throw the weight back.

If the ass drops and hits the stopper it will cause bad traction.

Drag springs are stiff in the back and soft in the front.

Don't ever call me an idoit again.

That car also lifted the wheels which is BAD.

You want the ass to squat enough to grip, but not to much or you'll lift the wheels.

You acheive this with a softer front springs and drag struts. That lifts the front suspension to cause the weight transfer. You don't drop the Ass to acheive transfer. You raise the front.

If you're going to call me out, you need to try again. If you're going to post a video please post one with a decent suspenIon set up.
