  • leaking fluid... TKO 600

    what am i lookin for to replace this? mine is leaking just enough to where over time it will be empty... what gasket do i need for a TKO 600 i cant find any

    there is no bellhousing gasket, what is leaking, tranny fluid or motor oil?

        ok smartass, fuck if i know lol. this is my first rodeo with these cars and as the days go by, i find more and more shit to fix. soo,, transmission fluid is leaking from the front where the transmission bolts up to the engine. there, that fucking good enough for ya? lol damn

              It sounds like it's the seal for the input shaft, pull the tranny, pull the bearing retainer, and put a new seal on it.

                looked into it and called a few shops around here since i dont have the time to do it myself or the tools, they're tryin to charge me 4-6 hours of labor at 75 bucks an hour... i was like ha! fuck that so im gonna see what i can do as far as lookin into somewhere that would let me do it myself just using their equipment
