  • Vacuum under WOT?

Trying to iron out the bugs and we noticed that during my passes at 100% throttle I am the MAP sensor is showing 91 kPa (should be very close to 100).

I am guessing a lot of this can be attributed to the homemade 3in. pvc intake pipe I built for it so I am going to replace it with a 4 inch aluminum pipe.

Any other reasons that you would show vacuum during WOT? How much h/p would this eat up?

A lot. I would suspect the sensor first, check it with a vacuum gauge though.

Vacuum at WOT indicates an intake restriction of some sort and usually it has to be pretty serious to even register on a gauge. If any part of your intake tubing is collapsible that would be the suspect part. Or your throttle body may not be opening all the way.

Then again, if you got a 3 inch inlet that is only about 76mm, that isn't really enough for shit if you ask me.

Ya, and the pipe makes a 90* turn and I am not 100% sure if it even maintains the 3in i.d. through that turn. I am running a 4 inch filter at the end of the pipe.

I went and looked at your pics in the pic forum. If you aren't running mass air then just take that whole elbow off and see if that solves the issue.

I am running a MAF. I don't think any of the pictures on this forum show the PVC intake.
