  • Rebuilding a C4 Transmission

Does anyone have any contacts on a good transmission shop? My C4 in my 66 Mustang needs rebuilt and I have one place that is asking 400 with me pulling it and putting it back in. I figure yall may know someone.

Damn, beat me to it. Jeff is the best. He's done all my transmissions from my F250 to my Powerglide in my Mustang.
I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,

but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake

i would call mike and ask. mike can freshen the convertor, most others order a new one. also, ive seen plenty of people have lots of probs because of the limited clutch surface area in a c4, weve pushed them to approx 1100hp...
