What does it cost (roughly) to powder coat 4 wheels flat black? Is that (flat) tougher or will it hold up better than a semi-gloss or gloss coating?

Also about how long should it take? few days/1 week?

Places like Wheel Technologies in Farmers Branch will fix any rash/damage, true them up and powder coat them for $125 each. Ask them for a discount if you do all 4. 24hr turn around. They can dismount/mount your tires too.

Last time I checked with a powder coater, they wanted $75 each to just coat them. That was probably 3 or 4 years ago.

I'd go a satin black. Don't think the amount of gloss would make them any tougher but the more gloss, the easier to clean.

yeah i got the number to a guy wholl do them for 100 a wheel..... satin black is really nice(what i got on my ride) but its a bitch to keep clean.... just FWIW

I picked up today 5 wheels off of a '70 vette that I had blasted and coated silver and it cost $55 a wheel. Performance powder in royce city 972-635-6010

Place in Denison called BA's Powdercoating does them normally for $240 a set, but he was having a special last week or so for $180 for a set.

He just did the wheels on my '66 Chevy truck in metallic copper and they came out freaking awesome. I'll post some pictures of then when I get home. I can give you his number if you want.

Copper hua? As a typical cant match shit guy, what other color would go good on a black car. No chrome at all on car.

keep in mind, the more gloss, the more it will show scratches. (in the clear)
