Staying pumped up or not pumping at all. I don't really know what to look for at first it sounds like a rocker arm but I check all of them and their fine. What are some things to look for to find out if this is the problem?

if you can collapse the lifter by hand (pushing the pushrod down) they are bleeding off/not pumping up. One of the two...

would this relate to my current issue?? idk if its an exhaust leak or a bad lifter/rocker arm cuz when i accelerate i hear a loud constant tick noise,, from the right side.... dont hear it if im just cruising at a set speed... just during revs/acceleration

if its a tick you got a exhaust leak, you will know when its a rocker arm it will run like shit if its bad!

Hopefully not a flat, flat tappet cam!

I am not familiar with your shortblock. Is is a roller cam block or hydraulic flat tappet? Then again if that were the case, one of the rockers would be loose. But it would suck because you could not put a new lifter on a used flat tappet cam.

Maybe one of the rockers could have a bad trunion also.If they aren't shimmed correctly it will make them noisy also. Pm me what you are asking.
