  • would this work in a 85stang with a 302/c4 combo?

    says 66-68mustang but i think it will work as an alternative to the lokar cable. what do you think?

      btw, this is for the downshift linkage so i dont have to manually downshift on the hwy

        First one will not work. That cable works on conjunction with a fulcrum/equalizer bar attached to the intake for the carb linkage.

        The second one is a waste of money IMO.

        Run down to the junk yard and pull a kick down bar off a 70s-80s car/van/truck.

        SOmething like this. You will need to find one that clears your firewall, etc.

          doesn't the TV increase line pressure also? are you running around with nothing to modulate line pressure?

            Pretty sure the C4s don't use a TV system. The kickdown is a kickdown. Are ya snoozin Forest?

                    Ya the first one is kind of a waste as well, you could easily make that too. I may have mine laying around somewhere. Thank you PA for making my trans Non-kickdown compliant.

                        But one works with Clint's holley? That doesn't make any sense. Your's is more or less a holley. You just need the additional bracket if I am not mistaken.
