  • Wolfe VS UPR suspension

Is it worth it to pay the extra 200$ for wolfes rear stuff vs getting UPR? The only thing I like wolfe over UPR is he has the option for 1/2 bolts and I dont see that with UPR.

Shoot me a price and what all you've got. I might go with the wolfe stuff though. I'm undecided at this point.

Isn't it pretty much the same stuff since UPR copies everyone else's parts to reproduce them?

Any votes for Team Z? Although they're almost the same price as Wolfe so I'd just as soon get his stuff.

It's not all the same - There are some very distinct differences in construction. Back in the day, yes, I'd agree - they were very similar with Wolfe bieng the pioneer & superior. UPR had some key failures that ulitimately lead to the rethinking of their control arm design. The threaded piece used to be butt welded to the part that went over the spherical bushing - now, it goes through it with a positive stop shoulder design. (they used to break the welds pretty regular, sending the car who knows where)

Next, the sway bar is WAY different. Particularly the bushing/bearing configuration. UPR using bearings MUST have perfect alignment or it a) won't last or b) won't move at all. Also, UPR uses a formed piece of 'sheet metal' to connect the heim ends to, Wolfe uses a plasma/laser cut pair of brackets with tubes welded inbetween the two - personal preference on which is better. The UPR pieces seem to deform near the ends easier. idk.

Wolfe uses an aluminum bushing that's a looser fit and allows bedding of the bushing to the shaft and lifelong freedom of movement.

I've used both and had good luck with both, but my loyalty lies with Wolfe products. He's not only a friend, but also the originator of most ALL of the parts that makes a Mustang go fast in a straight line.

FWIW, I've never had a problem with either one and had great success with both. Installed countless suspension systems from both places.

I've had both, The wolfe stuff seemed to be built much better.

do your wolfe lowers have the spring perches? Is the roll bar double or single? is it setup for the 1/2 bolts or stock?

How much do you want for just the roll bar?
