I have the sct box 93 octane tune on my 2012. Do I need to drop the tune to 87 octane? I don't think I do but my theory on altitude and octane is a little fuzzy.

no, just buy the highest octane available on your trip

Definitely fill up in Amarillo. If you wait until you get to NM, all you'll be able to get is 88. Stay out of it if you have to buy a tank of that.

depends on the altitude... in Creede your choices are 85 or 87
