  • Local auto A/C parts store?

Anyone know of any good local A/C supply stores for compressors, o-rings, accumulators, etc? I used to get parts from Bill Beasley on Good Latimer but since they have closed I don't know where to get equipment anymore other than the generic junk they sell at Autozone or Oreilly's. I am rebuilding the system on an 86 3/4 ton Chevy P/U with the TBI-350. I need a new R4 compressor, O-rings to replace all the old ones, accumulator, and new orifice. Anyone

i drove by a place in fort worth called yellow rose ac compressor or something they might have one rebuilt. as for the accum and o rings id just call up oreily and have them get it. i bought an ac compressor off ebay for 75 bux for my truck and it works great.

I dont think their open any more. I use to bring them compressors to rebuild all the time. They use to charge $120-150 to rebuild any a/c compressor.

Id try Rockauto first then look around town for something cheaper. If you need hoses built you can go to GT Hose on Industrial and they do pretty good work for a decent price.
