Overall how do you think your fan set-up worked? And let me see if I got this right, you powered the fan with a car batt. and tried to keep the batt. charged by hooking up a batt. charger. Is that correct? Would a power inverted have worked better? Just asking 'cus I might do something like this with the car I have in the garage.

Not sure on the power inverter. Good question. Yes, that is how we have it hooked up. We only have the one window on that side of the house, and the SN95 fan pulls like 3,000 cfm. Definitely created a negative pressure in our home made booth. Only 2-3 specs of dirt so it was effective. Overspray lingered a little longer than we had hoped when the clear went on, but it cleared out within 5 minutes of hte last coat.

Your video is great too by the way. I can't wait to see what it looks like when you get the car in there and lay some more color.

Well since this is teh internets ill inject my worthless opinion . Ive found it DAMN hard to find a decent paint/body shop . Ive had various work done over the years at various places . Never been happy with any of it, but just got tired of arguing and going back to the shop over and over . If i ever find a real good bodyman ill probly send my stuff to him even if he moves to another state .

                      • Ive got a '67 in my shop that I did the Total Cost Involved complete package on. 12 inch willwoods, polished stainless A-arms, 9 inch w/ big axles. It went together fairley easy (if your a better than average welder/fabricator)

                        • Take a look at the Total Cost Involved package. I have a 67 coupe in my shop now that I did front and rear with their system. Everything went on fairly easy(if you are a better than average welder/fabricator) and looks great.

                              • It's all painted and in the process of wiring, interior and final assembly.

Here is a video of the maiden cruise around the block still in an unfinished stage from back in the summer.
