    If you have an old AOD the OD servo is plastic and it'll crack at WOT with any kind of power. Or if you have the smaller servo on a 4L60 the "Corvette" one can increase apply pressure considerably. Otherwise though unless they are cracked or worn out there isn't really a reason.

      Oh ok, I have never seen a plastic servo so I didnt know that. Makes sense though.

        Ok I called the guy asking 400 for the rebuild, told him you guys thought he was too cheap, he said he will gladly do it for 1000 no problem


        so, problem solved, I mean if you call him, he might consider 900

          should be around 1k for a decent build. but for my truck i went ahead and did the transgo kit, replaced all the servos with billet and did the 4l65 sunshell. the prices on just those were just 400. i did mine in the garage myself.... never again
