shops/techs Issue with 02 GMC Envoy sounds like a big rig

Clutch not working when temperature is high. On cool days it works fine no issue, but when it gets hot its a different story. Have replaced the fan clutch twice already in the last year.Any gmc/chevy techs know what might be the issue.

I believe that has an electronic fan clutch. My sisters sounds the same way. It's never ran hot.

Correct, electronic fan clutch. It doesn't overheat, but it sure doesn't drive normal. Besides making the sound of a big rig getting going it doesnt accelerate normal. It drives fine on days that temp is below 80 degrees, but when hot outside it s a different story
