That is what I was told they were mounted on.

Hmm not exactly what I would do I know a slick has some give to it but that's pretty big width difference.

Theyre not mine, while I agree with you, I'm still gonna run them!

Did you ever get your torque boxes welded up?

Wait until you feel that thing floating around on the top end... you'll probably change your mind.

Bad idea with your lack of seat time with true slicks. Listen to above. The rims are too narrow for a tire of that width..

I'm not going to go balls out until I feel safe, I may be young but I wasn't born yesterday.

I hope the guy in the other lane doesn't have to learn with you.

                        I can see it now...

Going for the 3-4 shift while having a death grip on the steering wheel. He feels the car "try to come out on him", so he lifts with a slight correction to the wheel only to now find that the car suddenly gets jerked the other way.

I have seen it happen so often it sucks to hear someone else trying to run too big of a tire on a rim.

                        Be careful dude.

                          From other's mistakes?

Wait until you actually need the slicks, for one.

When you actually make enough power to warrant the slicks, then get them mounted properly. Hopefully you realize this also means to have your suspension set up for running slicks first as well.

I know all this, just seeing what kind of 60ft I can get out of it.

I know slicks get bouncy and to just stay in it and ease off and not be heavy on the brakes, and if anything don't turn the wheel just ease off the throttle a little if anything.

You'll finally get a sub 2 second 60 if you launch off the rev limiter.

Have you gotten another daily driver yet?
