  • 2007 Mustang interior lights won't turn off

Got a co-worker who owns a 07 Mustang and the interior lights will not turn off. there is no "door ajar" warning dash light. i'm thinking the door switch needs replacing but did not see where it was located. any quick fix ideas?

any help would be appreciate. tia

I had a similar problem on my 03. I was told to spray the latch area with wd40. To my surprise it worked. That was a few years ago never had the problem again.

This might be kind of stupid, but it took me an hour to figure out. If you turn the headlight knob past the dimmer it pops the interiors on. Idk if it's the same with a new stang though. Almost posted the same thing a couple weeks ago until I realized.

Glad that worked. I was told it had something to do with moisture and wd40 drys it out.
