  • New Mustang new plans

So, I got a new mustang, picked up a 2005 GT and im about to dive off in to building it.

So far it has a Shaker and thats about it for the performance mods.

I'm looking to get as much HP as I can with out forced induction.

I've thought of a CIA but that contradicts the shaker. I'm going with long tube headers, and borla exhaust. Once thats installed im going for a tune. once thats done I plan for new pullies, (haven't decided about a new throttle bottle, or intake manifold)

After a while I do plan to Cam and do heads.

Any Ideas out there that I haven't really covered?

and is a new throttle body worth getting?

My thoughts, too. I also wouldn't get a tune until your mods are done. It's the best way to get the full benefit of them.

I'm not too sure what the CIA is going to do for your engine.

With the 05 and up don't u have to get a tune for anything. Heard they were pretty sensitive and I would go with gears too. Also welcome to the board and post tits or gtfo

I've been thinking gears, I want to go with 3.73, dont want anything deeper then that. 4.10s are too deep and I dont wont to be wound up like a top at high way speeds.

                  as far as tits go...

                  This work?

Unfortunately with about any mod you do you'll have to re-tune it, maybe consider an SCT Xcal3 to update the tunes yourself for the minor mods.

Personally, I would wait on the tune until you get all your bolt ons installed.

I wouldn't do anything less in gears than 390's, it's a waste of money to go from 355 to 373. If you're interested in a new in the box set of richmond 3.90's pm me for details. I've got a buddy that picked up a set for his 2010 and never installed them.
