  • Who can flash a 2010 F150?

I need to have the brake controller enabled on my 2010 F150, is anyone familar with this process? I was told the dealer can flash the computer to get it working but the dealer I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about. I have already installed the module I just need to have it enabled.

You might try Auto ECM in grand prairie. They flashed a remanufactured ECM in a 98 Taurus I was working on.

GoECM is the nation's leader in automotive computer remanufacturing. We specialize in diesel control modules such as ECM, TCM, and TIPMs. Control module repair is available for applications such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel and Dodge control modules. All modules are backed by a lifetime warranty.

On my 2006 f150, to enable the brake controller, you add a wiring harness that plugs in under the dash. The new harness plugs into the brake controller

Yeah the 2010 is a beast of it's own, the controller talks to the PCM vs just the stuff in the back, the controller settings are actually displayed in the gauge cluster info screen.
