Picking up this cam from another board member tomorow. I'm going to give it a shot in my 93 Lightning. Anyone here running this Nitrous grind from comp? How does the idle sound? I will be installing it in a 351.

I assume you know all of the problems with a cam and speed density? You would probably be better with a stock 5.0 roller cam, decent improvement until you get a tweecer or MAF

Plus I already have an HO Roller cam in there. It's done and falling off fast by 4800 RPM. I need a good pull to 5200. I have read several posts where that cam worked well in SD mustangs with it's low 112º intake duration and its 114º LSA. I'm going to run some 1.7's to get the lift up to the .540ish range as well. I'm really hoping for .2 in the 1/8th. I've been as quick as 8.7 on a few occasions out at Kennedale. I would like to run consistant 8.6's NA. I still have the stock converter and intake manifold as well. I also now run 275/45/18's in front that don't exactly scream light weight. I was just curious if anyone had any 1st hand experience with this cam. I like that it's a nitrous grind as well.
