Is a 4.6L thermostat the same on a SOHC/DOHC?

Do the DOHC motors have their own thermostats? I figured they were the same as the SOHC.

probably im pretty sure they are about 190 degree stats. and no a 160 wont do much better because the water will not stay in the radiator core as long reducing cooling ability.

ryan, the 03-04 cobra have a 180. RT-1168 motorcraft, I can get it if needed
