question about selling a motor

Going a different motor combo and will need to sell parts to help fund the project.
have you guys had any luck letting someone see the car running and buy the motore intake to oilpan or will have better luck parting it all out?

btw, said motor has aluminum heads, cam,intake, etc

I had way better luck selling my old 351/TKO combo by parting it out.
