        an A/F reading will tell you what the correct jet would be............

                            There's no good answer to your question. There's too many things that can affect the jetting and power valves.

                            The power valve is just about the only thing you can get a good guess on without doing any pulls. THe PV is just a secondary enrichment device on the primary side (if that makes sense). WHen it opens, it's like adding 2 more jets to the equation. This is why a street car needs one, it gets a lean cruise from a closed power valve and enrichment under WOT when the vacuum goes away.

                            Personally, I'd put it on a dyno and tune the WOT first. Once you do that, you can adjust air bleed sizes (if they are adjustable) to get the part throttle/cruise A/F good and lean. You'd be suprised how good a carb'd car can drive/idle/cruise if you put some effort into it.
