    If it is aluminum it will polish. Not sure on the whole chroming thing.

    I bet it is the same cover as above they look similar. Hell they may have sanded out the 5.0 part. LOL

          This is off topic but do those GT-40 intakes flow as well as the good aftermarket ones like trickflow? Something tells me no.

            You would need to sand it to get a decent finish even with chrome. And you could polish it with a buffing wheel and get the same effect as chrome for less. Someone already mentioned starting at a low grit number and working your way up so I won't go over that again. However u can buy a sisal wheel and some cut and color compound bars for 20 30 bucks. If you don't want to spend the extra time buffing it then after sanding it down go to texas precision platings website. There are a lot more options besides chrome for that shiny look. Nickel, copper etc. They all add a different look and will cost about the same.
