mustang shuts off when ac is turned on

Got a 2000 gt that is giving me problems when I turn on the ac. The car idles ruff and shuts off, and have to restart it. Car runs good with the ac off. I have changed the throttle positioning sensor. Any help would be appreciated.

If it idles fine without the A/C on, it's not the IAC.

Mine did that when the A/C was low on Freon. Compressor would kick on and off repeatedly and the idle had trouble keeping up, especially when I was coming to a stop...would stall out. Start the car with the A/C on and watch the compressor. If it kicks on and off over and over, it just needs some R134.

If its low on freon the ac compressor can start seizing up.

My ac compressor seized up and didnt let my car start at all. For about a week before that it would stall out at stops.
