I installed a different tank with a new pump and filter a few weeks back. I'm in between semesters now so I have a little time to try and fix this problem. The car runs and sounds like a damn tractor. The only things I can think that this problem might stem from is the rubber tube that I switched out on the pump. The guy at oreilly gave me a different size tube. Another thing I'm thinking it could be is the lid type things that go on top of the tank. Maybe I didn't close them right? Do they need gaskets? What do you guys think?
