Flaming River Manual Rack
I was under the impression that I would have to have the steering shaft from flaming river in order to install my manual rack.... Is this a recomended acessory, or is it more of a luxury item. If I dont have to have it to install, then I dont see the point of paying $200 to get one shipped to me. If its and absolute must have to install, then I guess I have no choice. I did some searching this morning and cant find anything that says I cant install it without the shaft.... Anyone have any experience with this situation???

I believe you have to have it due to a spline count difference. They also make an adapter but it is not known to be as safe, if I am not mistaken. -

If I have to buy the damn flaming river steering shaft, it will be several weeks before I will install it... that bastard has gone up in price about double since I purchased the chrome rack...Comment
