You're gonna hate spending $4.xx a gallon for 93 octane once you go boosted. Unless your parents are footing the gas bill.
I've put 93 octane since day one.

Your car without the intercooler will be fine. Yes, it won't make optimal power, but then again your car doesn't need to with it's stock motor. I ran a non-intercooled S trim on my 93 Cobra for 7 years and it never gave me a problem and made well over 500rw in the heat. It won't that power on your lil weezy mod motor, but it will make enough to be fun and reliable as long as the tune is good.

I'd use a pmas or 90mm lightning, you can get a lightning for about $80-100 if you watch the forums

You can add a cheap air to air for < $300... Supposedly the treadstones are nice, and I've heard plenty of claims that the CXracing ones off e-bay are passable too.

                I'm intrigued.

Will 39# injectors off a 03/04 cobra work, or should I go 42#?
How much hp can I make? I know 2000vortechgt is making 420 to the wheels and I guess I would like to make close to that. How much boost would that be?

Yeah, you can use the stock meter. You'll have to have the ev6-ev1 adapters to use the stock cobra injectors. That'll run you about 35-40 bucks extra.

What would I have to do differently to run an intercooler?

Ask the whoever you're going to have tune it. They're the ones that have to deal with it.

                      Does that include piping?

You might look at water/methanol injection. That's cheap and easy, just like all my ex-girlfriends.

I would plan on using a 01-04 Lightning/ 03-04 Cobra MAF Meter from the start.

It will still save me $100+ over new 42#'ers.
