Advice needed: TIA
I am rebuilding/cleaning/painting etc etc a 1984 Suzuki LT50F that my wife and her brother rode when they were kids. I am rebuilding this thing for my son. I opted doing this over buying one of those $400 chinese four wheelers that are cheaply built. Enough lead in...my question is this:
After cleaning, repairing frame etc etc should I put the bike back together and THEN troubleshoot the no start issues? Or should I try to troubleshoot each piece individually before putting it all back together? I know that I am not getting any spark so I am unsure whether it is a coil issue or something else. The motor (pull start) turns over fine and it gets (what I think) good compression. I have never fooed with small engines so I am coming here to ask the experts. I am going to take the carb to someone to rebuild for me as I am sure I will mess that up if I do it myself. Thanks for the help guys.
