I was off half the day yesterday so I spent some time tweaking on my rear brakes. I still have the drums out back, and they've never worked very well even after changing the shoes and looking everything over. I realized the "self-adjuster" mechanism that's supposed to push the shoes outward wasn't adjusted correctly so with some trial and error I got it about as far out as they should be without too much pressure on the drum. I did a little TNT coming up on the footbrake to see if I could hold a little more rpm. I was able to get to 2600 rpm and 7psi on the 2-step on STREET TIRES! Woot! I'm guessing with a sticky tire and a burnout, 3000rpm and almost full boost isn't out of the question! Lower 60's here I come!
