    Need Electrical Fixed (88' LX 5.0)

    Anyone willing to come tackle my electrical issue for a reasonable price.
    I think I've narrowed it down to needing upgraded wiring for 130amp Alt. (Just rebuilt) and a short in the horn wiring somewhere or in steering column.

    My turn signals do not work at all, not even a click click. I changed fuse and it immediately popped, so change again and removed the horn. Now it isn't popping the fuse but still no turn signals.

    My inspection has been up since Dec. 2010 and I really bought the car to drive to gym and run errands.

    Also will need exhaust work if anyone does that.

    I'm located in Carrollton and has to have a good rep. on here.

    It could be your multi-function switch, or where it plugs into the column. I've re-wired my 88's after I was tired of the freaking electrical gremlins. I'm not cheap though, since I don't work for beer.

      My neighbor offered, but don't really feel like smelling alcohol breathe all day since I would be helping, unless I catch him in the morning. haha

        Anyone know where the horn relay is on an 88?

          You having the same problem? I'm real close to taking it up to AutoStart and have them fix it.

              I'll start charging the battery so it'll start.
              You do exhaust work as well, no way I'll pass emissions the way it is now.
              The mufflers have that heavy thud sound to them and were it's welded looks like bubble gum.

                    we can do some but limited since i dont have a pipe bender. but the welder is always ready to go.
