  • Overcharging issue.

Worked all the bugs out of my car, well I thought i did. Tonight i run a buddy of mine, at about 5200rpm my battery light comes on, gauge pegs out and headlights blow, no big deal, have brights still to make it home, i made it a mile or so and give it some gas to merge onto a major road and pop, the high beams blew. kicked the fog lamps on and went home, What would be the cause of this. Its a 91 gt, i have a 95, 130 amp alternator on it, been running it for 2 years or so. The only thing i ever changed was the inline fuse for the alt wire to soleniod. 200 to a 300. Any idea's???????
