Welding the torque boxes

Recently NASA changed the rules to allow for welding and reinforcing the torque boxes, I am going to weld and install battle boxes on the mustang, the poor mans 3 link is going to be putting extra stress on the upper torque box that's active. Hopefully I won't ever have to worry about them.

The 3m roloc disc (yellow) worked wonders compared to the wire wheels, it prob cut the paint and primer 4x faster, big thumps up for 3M.

LOL, yeah I was like WTF after I tried using that thing

Not really. Those welds have a shielding gas, not a flux core wire.
