Can anyone keep an eye out for some black fr500 wheels and tires. 18x9s, maybe even 17x9s. I don’t have Facebook, nothing on 5mile or offer up or Craigslist.


I’m sure there’s a few Facebook groups out there. Looking to buy ASAP. Used tires are fine , I’ll end up buying new later.

I really like that matte black and silver wheels combo you got there. That’s about what I want, but with no chrome on bumpers and the trim.

Well I think mine was harder because of the extra welds someone decided to add in spots I couldn’t get to. So I ended up cutting stuff that I think normally wouldn’t need to be cut. But the plasma cutter saved me. Putting it back in was of course easier, I’m just glad it’s done lol

Also went ahead and ordered the fr500 wheels. Went staggard 18x9 and 18x10

Pretty sure the 9" wont fit the front. The rear might, but may need the spring moved under the frame rails

I think I did 17x9 on a 1968 I had with some small spacers. We shall see once I get the brake conversion kit on it.
