Long time since Ive been here, facebook has gotten many off the forums these days it seems.
I come from East Tx. Im 23, Paramedic, and have 3 mustangs so far.
I got a 1967 289 coupe when I was young. It has been a slow restoration. Break in's at our shop, stolen tools and parts (including a complete suspension package for it) have set it to the side by a long shot ... We are slowly getting things back together there and hoepfully I can work on it again soon.
In highschool I got a 94 3.8 as a DD. It lasted until I was stupid and broke the transmission.
After highschool I bought a 2004 3.8 for a DD.
Stupid as you may find it, it has been my toy car. Lots of learning, and to much money spent. But has been a very fun project car. Its quick, not fast. Sitting now at a low 12 second car. Soon to be much more.
She was recently hit while parked outside my house. Damaged across the entire driver side. She is still in operation to repair that.
During the time she got wrecked I was actually sitting in my garage repairing the 94 so I could DD it again... So its back to that old beater. But even after sitting for 7 years, she holds faithful !
I am currently looking for a 94-95 5.0 Automatic to use as a DD temporarily. Then sell the 94 v6. So if anyone has anything let me know!
I one day plan on swapping in the ECU, Wiring, etc etc and doing a build with the 5.0 for the 67.
Now back to that fart of a 2004 v6.
She has been my baby. As I said, she is quick, not fast, but sure is fun.
I swapped in a 4.2 short block. Custom cam, longtubes, O/R exhaust. Some minor port work was done to the heads and lower intake. Windstar upper and 25% UDP also added. 8.8 snagged with 3.37s. 3200 stall and JMOD for a shift kit. Zex has her running into the 7s in the 1/8th and 12s in the 1/4 with anywhere from a 75 to 125 shot.
