Update and some progress pics. Have gotten alot done, but still alot to go. I installed my hidden battery box in the trunk, and ran all my power wires, along with the battery cut off mounted on the rear bulkhead in between the seats. I have all my fuel lines/ fuel pump done. Installed a new carb, holley HP 650 DP. Only thing left to do to the engine is adjust the rockers, button up the valve covers and get some oil in her. I had my driveshaft shortened, and its installed. Ive got my fan mounted in a custom shroud. I was able to bump the starter over the other night, so its so close. Factory five had a smoking deal on black friday on their polished stainless side pipes $399 down from $999.

Oh and those dots on the frame (visible in the fuel pump pic) is fucking OFF bug spray! The bugs were so bad one night cause of my garage lights I sprayed some off, the over spray got on the car and ate into the powdercoat

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you think you've got into this car by now? What do you expect your final tally to be? I've always been curious what it really costs to build an AC Cobra.

The camera angle makes the cables look close, they are actually spaced pretty good from the cross bar. But I'll prob move it down a hole to be safe.

Can't, I installed the cables according to a different battery, then bought the optima. My ground won't reach to the other side of the box. I haven't secured the cross bar, ill move it down and go over the cables.

Or you can give the hold down a rubberized coating of some sorts. I can't remember what it was called, but they make some shit you can dip (not plastidip) the part into and it will coat, like the coating on tool handles.
