Regarding the purple heart thing; If you're interesting in hearing both sides of the story, there are videos on youtube of Lt. Col. Dorfman explaining what happened before and after the short clip everybody is crying about. He said that what you don't see is Trump told him it was an honor and offered to give it back to him, and also gave the Col. an opportunity to speak on the podium. Edits were made and here we are.
I'll reserve my full comments on the irony of any modern day liberal complaining and taking issue on someone receiving something they did nothing to merit.
But, hey. I get the self-righteous indignation. A lot of us felt the same way when a relatively unknown community organizer with a history of voting "Present" on key issues, somehow managed to slide his foot in the door of the White House and was subsequently awarded a Nobel Prize.
