    my good friends own https://www.facebook.com/switchinggearscyclery/

I bought a Fuji Rubaix off craigslist for $450, but it was a 58 cm and just a tad too big, Colin had this fuji team pro carbon frame laying around so we did a frame swap.

The plan is to slowly change the drive train out to a mix of ultegra and dura ace as i come across some deals. So far i have about $600 in this bike, but i plan to drop big coin on a wheelset and drivetrain like i mentioned.

Harrison, you should check out the shop i posted, colin always has some shit he could put together for you.

That was my story, we had a kid, bought a house, and i hadnt been in the saddle for 3 years. I bought this bike in march, and put about 250 miles on it before this. it was no joke for real. around 46 miles is when i was done. around 70 my body started shutting down, by 86 i was in a daze, and the last leg was luckily all flat through ponder/justin rolling into TMS.

I picked up a Felt F1 from a board member and put 500-600 miles on it I think. I was riding 100 miles/week minimum when my back gave out. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of it. I rode the Cotton Patch challenge last year, the short course, and told myself my goal for this year was the hotter n hell.....not gonna happen! :/

I support this thread hijack. I won't pull my bikes back out until grad school is done in December, but I can tell you that when it comes to full (non-metric) centuries a beer or two around mile 70 / 85 really help

Bad ass man. I may check it out. But between buying and building guns, working on my Z car, buying tires for my truck, cash is pretty tight right now. I would have to find a deal that I couldn't pass up. I've rode nice bikes before and I'm surely missing out.

You monster. Warm shook up Guinness.

Here's half my California ride, was a blast. 130 miles right on the coast
              No kit needed

HA. I don't have a serious beef. And honestly I'm wearing riding shorts under my shorts in that costal pic. I do just see kits mostly unnecessary. If I'm riding 45+ I'll kit up. But people put 100% of their shit on for 10 mile rides and it's laughable.

Example. I tagged you in that brewery tour. Well last year they did fort worth. The entire thing was like 12 miles, with 2-4 mile rides between brewery's. Dudes were doing it on lowrider bikes. Literally 2" off the ground. Yet there were still people in full kit. Gloves, pads, carrying 3/4 of a gallon of water like they're going to be 10 miles from a faucet. I think I was in flip flops.

was that the FW Brew Crew? they were out in full force for this ride. I would like to link up with them. There is a guy Tony Tennant that pulled me through my entire first alley cat race, nothing like being on a fixed gear on your home turf, getting drug by a gray haired guy who has no clue where he is going riding a 29er.

You clowns decide to make a team for HnH or a diff century count me in. I'm 3 years since I did two Half ironman's and I need to get back into shape. 56 miles is no joke when it's sandwiched between a lil swim and a 13.1 mile death jog. I'm going to try that distance again in November too and try to be faster.

This thread just motivated me to go for a short jog, thanks.

Maybe next year for HnH. No chance of me being in shape for that beating this year. I keep hoping the constant work around the house slows so I can log some miles, but with the kiddo do in July, I am trying to get as much done as possible
