Thanks! This is #2. I had an '81 911SC years and years ago while I was living in Las Vegas. I considered going 964 or 993, but wanted to DD it and couldn't justify the guilt I would inevitably feel piling miles onto either of those models since 997s are fairly ubiquitous. I'll have a 993 someday.

This is the reason I don't FB, Twitter, etc. EVERYONE I know that is on these social websites have some kind of drama going on. Don't give me that bullshit about, "Oh, but I can reconnect with old high school friends or ex-workers", fuck them motherfuckers, if I wasn't friends with you then, I don't want to be friends with you now.
I also hear, "but people can see pictures of family", please.... e-mail that shit or send a fucking letter with pictures that can be put on a fireplace mantel. It's all a bunch of bullshit to be in other peoples business, see what they are doing in their life or what they bought, to give you and other people something to gossip about...
Of course I mean the word you, rhetorically. And 'I' are all the people that I know personally...
Now, I must keep a FB profile for work but, it's ALSO a great way to post our little home life (usually dog pics) to that OVERWHELMING extended family (AND talk about beer with select friends). WINNING! OTHERWISE, you're RIGHT! Just don't stereotype me, mister. hahaha I also don't have to do early brunch on Sundays anymore - thanks to our, "See, we're still alive over here" posts. Rock ON FB! :-pI no longer shift gears - I switch beers. Cheers!
