And another great example as to how emotion can bleed all over logic and reason.

This board, as a whole, needs more humility. Do you not agree?

Do you also agree with what I said in my first post of this thread? Or do you think it is okay to joke/make light of someones death or call them names as long as you don't know them personally?

based on this thread I tend to believe that you agree with both of my threads.

...and BTW, I include myself in needing more humility from time to time

I had to go read the tony scott thread. Holy shit. Hit the nail on the head with this thread. What's worse is when one of the offending parties posts in this thread, gets called out, then pulls the moral high ground card. I have no skin in either of the games. I didn't know osiris, and I didn't know tony scott. I truly hope the kids can grow up and find peace.

I understand and have raised the question myself (more blatantly) but the timing on this one is bad.

unless you have attempted suicide i dont think any of you know what was going on. the man should be celebrated for his life not his death,if some shot him or he shot himself, is his death any less of a tragedy? any less of a loss to his loved ones? i had 24 stitches across my neck and recovered and not one person around me called me selfish regardless of their inner thoughts? why? the same reason why their is always a certain amount of respect for the dead. he didnt get lucky, i did . either instance would have been a tragedy. even a cancer patient that does himself in is a tragedy. alot of you really need to shut the fuck up and get out of other people's business because one day you might have an incident and not be able to comfortably walk into a knife store ever again.

pretty obvious who this thread is about, and it is pretty lame to be so two-face....but, really shouldnt stir up any drama over this guy dying.

Looks folks, I generally call it manners. Regardless if you know the person or not, disagree/agree with it - keep your trap shut and show some respect for the people who are mourning. Also put yourself in their shoes.

If my son grew up and died trying to commit murder, I'd still mourn deeply for him - even though I hate murderers.

Regardless of how a person goes, if they had friends/family they will be missed and people will be sad. Just let it alone and don't say anything on this board that you would not say to someone's face.

                      Take care,

So you think there is just one? Really? This isn't about a single person nor is it about a single event, I assure you.
